Mat Pilates

Classical mat work focused on core strength, flexibility, and mindful movement.

Mat Pilates is where it all began. Using just your body weight and a mat, these classes build deep core strength, improve flexibility, and teach you to move with control and awareness.

Our mat classes draw from the classical Pilates repertoire with modern modifications. Props like resistance bands, magic circles, and small balls add variety and challenge. Classes are 50 minutes and suitable for all fitness levels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is mat Pilates easier than reformer?

Different, not easier. Mat work relies entirely on your body weight, which can be more challenging for some exercises. Many of our clients do both.

Do I need to bring a mat?

No — we have studio mats, towels, and all props. Just bring yourself and a water bottle.

Can I do mat Pilates if I have a bad back?

Yes — Pilates was originally designed for rehabilitation. Let your instructor know about any injuries and they'll offer modifications.
